The Farmhouse Church is a New Testament congregation in Garsthuizen, dedicated to the Great Commission through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are a servant church. We believe the Bible is 100% true, we are there for all ages, and we want to make a difference in Groningen and the surrounding area (Northern Netherlands).
A New Testament church where young and old come together to magnify God and learn from him. We meet weekly on Wednesday evenings (life groups) at each other's homes and on Sunday mornings together in a converted farmhouse in Garsthuizen.
We believe the Bible is true and that Jesus died for our sins and we want to live according to that.
Below you will find some of our services.
Our church service begins every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. Doors open at 9:15 AM. Coffee and tea are available. In addition to the Sunday service, we also meet every Wednesday evening in live groups, and throughout the year we organize themed services for which speakers are regularly invited.
View agendaA Life Group is a group of people within our church who meet weekly to grow in unity and experience the reality of Christian living day by day. These Life Groups take place in people's homes. Within the Life Group, you'll be able to build deeper relationships in a warm and safe environment. You'll be accepted for who you are and simultaneously encouraged to reach your full potential in God. A Life Group is both a caring community and a place to grow in serving others.
More informationYoung people are very welcome to attend our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening meetings. We also organize monthly youth evenings, to which young people from both the church and the wider community are specifically invited.
More informationIt's important that the good news is shared with everyone. Because we don't want to keep it to ourselves, we're happy to participate and organize evangelistic efforts in and around Groningen. From our church, we preach the gospel in Namibia. Every year, several groups participate jointly in mission trips.
